Feb04 Our Weekend Link Up Party 2013

happy monday!!!  if you’re new here, we like celebrating our weekends around annapolis & company.  we’re all about savoring the best parts of life and snapping photos to remember it.  i hope you’ll join in at the bottom of this post with your weekend photo…or two!

Annapolis-&-Company-Our-weekend

1./ breakfast.  there is no better thing i love than to have smoothies around here.  if i even mention the “s” word, the schooners will hold me to it and will NOT let me forget i promised it to them.  i added frozen mandarin orange juice to them this time and i made steven taste and dared him to tell me it was not as good as jamba juice.  mmmm…just so good.

2./ date night.  mindy told me steven and i need more date nights when i mentioned at a baby shower that i loved labor and delivery…

“if you get drugs, it’s like a long date in the hospital with your husband, you know?”

“yeah.  you guys need to go on more dates.”

so we did.  and they watched our kids for us.  that’s true love right there.  we hit up starbucks {thank you for the gift card troy and jenny!} and then went to see les miserables` {thank you for that gift card, leanne!} and it was like a real live date.  and no epidurals.

3./ baby time.  jodi is having a little boy after 2 beautiful girls and we couldn’t more excited for the 2 girl and 1 boy idea!  the girls came with me and i had to explain 50 times on the way over why boys don’t usually come to baby showers.  the birds and the bees talk is going to be rough in 10 years.  i can tell you that.

4./ training.  i ran 3 times last week…which is an improvement for me.  {you can laugh}  i’m one of those girls that wouldn’t ever wear a baseball cap on a typical day of the week, but if i have to run when it’s sunny out….i can’t live without it.  you can’t miss me on riverside drive.  do sunglasses do it for you?

5./ spinach and cheese.  we heart quasadillas around here and the kids will gobble up cheese, black beans, and spinach on theirs.  it’s my sneaky way to get in some green without Keller noticing.

6./ dress-up.  the girls have gotten really into dressing up lately and demand that keller participate.  that poor kid walked around with 10 lbs of lion added to his head…but i think he secretly loved the attention because every time we would catch a glimpse of him toddling around we would bust UP laughing.

7./ afternoon date.  emma claire has been struggling with the emotional drama of growing up lately and she really needed some one-on-one time.  she’s a talker by nature and loves getting your undivided attention.  i promised her i would take her out by herself and when we finally stole away for a few minutes at starbucks she was on cloud nine.  i let her pick out a game and she picked the perfect little memory card game.  ah….good, sweet memories with my e.c.

8./ magazines.  shannon is keeping me supplied with my share of magazines after professing my unwavering love for them.  i have been soaking up vogue, people, southern living, and in style like nobodies’ business.  thank you, shannon!!!

9./ souper bowl party.  we got to see everybody from trinity for a super bowl party at my dear friend lauren’s house.  it always does my heart good to see people from our first church plant…the familiar faces and the new ones.   speaking of faces, this photo of lauren and i at 10pm are the faces of 2 very tired grown up girls. :)

and how was your weekend??? who were you cheering for?

now, i hope you dug out your camera over the weekend and snapped a photo or two because it’s time to link up!

here’s the rules…

:: link up to anything weekend related.  a photo. a diagrammed map of the places you went.  a recap. a photo grid…the weekend sky is the limit!

:: don’t forget to link to your actual blog post, not just your main page. for example. http://annapolisandcompany.com/2013/01/its-the-weekend-are-you-ready-to-partay/

:: grab a weekend button below {see the code box!}, or just link back to annapolis & company so others know they can join in the fun.

congrats on the run! Super exciting! :) I haven’t tried a baseball cap yet . . . sunglasses have been my go to, but perhaps a cap would be more comfortable . . .
